It takes an adventurous soul to step away from the life you always knew to pursue something different, and I can't wait to see how it all shakes out! I've been curious as to the backstory of your incredible new journey and I'm SO excited for you. Having gone back to school as a "mature student" myself, I can definitely relate to bits of what you must be going through--but I did my most recent degree in Film, definitely not something as challenging as math and science (neither of which I applied myself to in school because it seemed beyond me). Forensics have fascinated me since my first viewing of Silence of the Lambs, and I toyed with the idea briefly when I was in high school, but unfortunately, I didn't pursue it seriously. I'm so inspired by what you're doing and am behind you 100%!! It's making me think as well. I'm about to check your links about people in the arts being the most unemployed, but I'm sure that's true here as well.
